Tony in his own words:
"I participated on my first training in September 1985 because my whole family had done all sorts of different trainings and they had been nagging me for a long time to go ahead and do one myself.
I actually thought that these trainings were ridiculous and only for gullible fools and nutcases. So the only reason why I DID go was to expose it for the sham I thought it was and to show how these trainings had been invented to suck money out of helpless people.
It turned out to be the turning point in my life.
It was a real breakthrough and I had the most amazing revelation. I realised how closed and secretive a person I had been, I thought I knew better and did not really listen, I saw how bad my communication was. Although everything in my life seemed fantastic I realised how low my self-worth was: my self-confidence and my communication was given a real boost as a result of doing the trainings. And this even though my life had been really succesfull!
I realised how intent I had been on being right and saw why I was so aggressive and antagonistic at times: my stress and tension just left my life and I became a lot more tolerant.
I thought that if I could get so much out of this then anybody could and it was really important that as many people as possible could benefit from the training.
I became a trainer in 1989 and since then I have led over 450 such trainings in Canada, Ireland, Gurnsey, Holland, Israel, Spain and the UK with over 15000 participants of all ages and backgrounds. The absolutely amazing thing is that they trainings ALWAYS work, every single one of them.
I have done lots of things in my life, from being a lawyer, to working in the travel business, working in the finance industry, to being a very succesful owner of a chain of fast-food restaurants. Being a trainer has become the driving force of my life, it holds first place and everything else just comes second.
What I say to those who are sceptical or undecided is that I know where they are coming from. I was the most skeptical of them all, but what have you got to lose? The worst thing that can happen is that you have wasted three days of your life or you just might get a whole lot out of it!!"
