Casas Karen is a place to enjoy the tranquility of the surrounding nature. For this reason we do our best to rent to those who appreciate peaceful natural surroundings.

 ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE TIME

• Arrival time: From 16.00 hrs. If you would like to arrive earlier please contact us.
• Departure time: Before 12.00 hrs. If you want to stay longer and if there is availability, please organize this beforehand at the office. In some cases there will be an extra charge of half a day stay. 

WATER AND ELECTRICITY

• Our water is from our well; therefore, it is advisable to only drink mineral water. We provide a 1.5 liter bottle of water for you on arrival in your accommodation. 
• Rarely our electricity goes out. If this were to happen, the water supply cuts off. Usually this is resolved quickly.

RUBBISH

• Please throw your rubbish in the corresponding containers located on the main road of Los Caños. There is no rubbish collection from the houses in Los Caños de Meca, only from the main road.
• There is an additional charge of 5 €, If you want to leave the rubbish in the house at the end of your stay.

CLEANING

• If the house needs extra cleaning above and beyond the time allocated for the basic end stay cleaning, you will be charge your credit card for the extra time.

1 hour: 12 €

Half and hour: 7 €

ECOLOGICAL PRODUCTS

We recycle all our waste water for the plants.

 Please, Use only Ecological Products:

• For toiletries (we have shampoo & soap for sale in the office)
• Natural Anti – mosquitoes (citronella, etc..)
• Ecological products for dishwashing, multipurpose cleaning solution, we leave it for you to use in the accommodation.
• Eco balls for the washing machine (available in the office & to be brought back as soon as wash is finished)

Please, don´t Use:

• Bleach or other non-ecological products

FURNISHINGS

• In the event that something is used incorrectly, broken or considerably damaged during your stay, the guest will be responsible either to replace the item, pay to buy another or to fix it and communicate it to us.
• Casas Karen is not responsible for any loss, breakage, theft or disappearance of any property of the client during their stay in our facilities.
• Casas Karen reserves the right to debit the customer's credit card for damage, theft or extras that may occur during your stay at inside of Casas Karen.

BARBEQUE

• Barbeques should not be used when it´s windy.
• Have the hose pipe and fire extinguisher at hand when using the barbecue.

CANCELLATIONS

• All changes or cancellations should be done not only by phone but also in writing or by email.
• Up until 30 days before: We return the deposit minus 60 € for administration costs.
• From 29 to 7 days, we return 50 % of the deposit. (If you have already paid 100 %, we will return 75 %).
• Less than 6 days before, the deposit is not returned / if you have already paid 100%, we will return 60 %)

We recommend that you take out travel insurance that also includes cancelation costs.

 

 

ANIMALS If you would like to come with your pet: We only allow calm and well behaved animals. 5 € a night additional charge per animal For more than one pet, contact us before booking and we will confirm if it´s possible.  We need to know that you are bringing a pet with you when you make the booking. Tick the"pet" box. Please indicate: how many pets, type and breed of animal. Rules for pet owners We ask you to take your pet/s out for walks to do their necessities towards the natural park. Do not let your pet/s loose until you return.  Do not allow animals to get on to the couches or beds. Bring bedding and  or blankets for your specific animal. Owners are responsible if any damage is caused by the animals to the accommodation, the grounds or to third parties. Casas Karen, therefore, disclaims responsibility if any of the contingencies above were to happen. We recommend pet insurance. You cannot leave the pet alone in the accommodation or in the grounds of Casas Karen. If there were to be an issue please contact the office. Animals must be in proper hygienic conditions.

Casas Karen reserves the right to terminate the stay on the premises of any person who fails to comply with minimum standards of civility and coexistence
